German Minister of Justice visits VEGA
On 18th May, Brigitte Zypries, the German Minister of
Justice, visited the Darmstadt office of VEGA Deutschland. The
Minister, whose constituency comprises Darmstadt and the
surrounding area, enjoyed an introduction to the company’s business
areas and plans for the future. Ms Zypries received information on
VEGA’s many varied capabilities and how these can be transferred
into new markets.
Furthermore, Brigitte Zypries was briefed on the long
standing partnerships that VEGA has established with local space
organisations like ESOC and EUMETSAT and how VEGA is using
expertise gained there in other markets such as aviation and
defence. Attention was also given to the special partnership in
place between VEGA Deutschland and SAP who are currently
cooperating especially in the area of Student Lifecycle Management
(SLCM).
Kurosch Balali, Managing Director of VEGA Deutschland, commented
on the Minister of Justice’s visit: “We are delighted that such a
high ranking member of the government has found the time to visit
us and personally gain an understanding or our expertise.”
