VEGA Deutschland demonstrates Defence capabilities at AFCEA
2009 exhibition
As in previous
years the 23rd AFCEA Exhibition was a great success. The exhibition
is the annual get together of the information and communications
technology community working with the armed forces. More than 100
companies took part and presented their newest technologies and
products. Visitors from all ranks of the German armed forces as
well as administration and security organisations took the
opportunity to find out more about the developments in the sector.
The accompanying symposium was held under the theme of “Mobile
broadband – technologies, solutions and services for the last
mile”.

VEGA Deutschland focused on its stand particularly on its
capabilities in the areas of Training and Simulation, Military
Space, SAP Consulting, IT Consulting, Managed Services and
Enterprise and Systems Architecture. On the stand VEGA’s cockpit
model used to demonstrate training software for Cougar transport
helicopters attracted particular attention.
