We are looking for a spacecraft operations engineer of a German telecommunications mission.

 

Objective

To be part of the operations team of a telecommunications mission.

 

Responsibilities / Duties

The operations engineer will support a German telecommunications mission by:

 

  • Preparing and executing routine spacecraft operations.
  • Be involved in contingency operations and anomaly resolution.
  • Provide on-call support.
  • Monitoring and evaluation of spacecraft performance.

 

Qualifications / Experience

 

  • University degree in Engineering (preferably Aerospace, Telecommunication, Electrical) or Physics.
  • Opportunity open to those recently graduated with interest in space.

 

Skills

  • High level of German (preferably native speaker).
  • Previous operations, platform or satellite subsystem knowledge of advantage.

 

Qualities

Candidates should be system-minded and able to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team.

 

Further Details

Candidates must be in possession or able to get German security clearance.
